Um , i think I messed up the dates on the follow up appointment. We got all the way into LA and discovered my appt wasn't until Thursday. Jo Marie was sweet though and helped me change my dressing and just checked up on me. We will head back on Thursday. Cary and I are both pretty tired, and the drive is a long one, but so worth it. I am so thankful to be in such capable hands I won't complain about the small stuff!

My name is Darlene and I am a friend of your Aunt Iris in Bakersfield, my father also had surgery for ec in March of this year and he was on osmolite feeding sloution, the home health people delivered way too much just before the tube was removed and we ended up with about 5 extra cases, I don't know what you are using but my father wanted me to offer this to you if you are interested. Many thanks for this offer, I wrote to your father as well thanking him. As I was talking to my doctor though, it was strongly suggested I stay on what we know my body can tolerate. I guess I had a bit of a battle with that in beginning. :/ I pray for your fathers continued recovery and am so thankful there are such kind people out there :)
